Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Community supported agriculture supports local farmers and provides consumers with fresh locally-grown produce on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Individuals or businesses can receive regular deliveries of fresh local produce by subscribing to a CSA program. Many CSAs require a quarterly or annual subscription. See individual websites for details. If you’re not ready to commit, you can buy directly from farmers at farmers’ markets and from local farms. (See section below.) |
